  1. This has been another interesting week for me – I’ve been experimenting again!

I wanted enter some work into this years SAA Paint a Poppy Challenge and at the same time I wanted to try out a new paper that I’ve read great things about, so I thought I would combine the two.

    The Challenge:

The SAA (Society for All Artists) has joined forces with the Royal British Legion to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI and are gathering together an exhibition of as many poppy paintings and drawings as possible.

This cause is an important one to me, as I’m sure it is to many many people. So, if you would like to know more about it, check out this website – Maybe even take part or make a donation if you feel you can.

  2. Hiya!

I’m pleased to say that I finished the Flying Scotsman Pastel painting. There’ll be a time-lapse video available on YouTube once Jordan has finished the Editing (he thinks it will be ready by the end of the week), I’ll try to embed here too, if I can remember how.

  3. Hello everyone, last week I explained that I wouldn’t get much artwork done, but I did none at all, I was away from my desk all week but that didn’t stop me thinking about it, and its not difficult to feel inspired while out in nature. I’m always stopping to admire some plant or creature and I absolutely love going somewhere I’ve never been before like we did on Wednesday.
